Runner out of Commission

Well, I've been out of commission for my lunch time runs for 7 weeks now....and I'm miserable. Hubby is very sympathetic, but I am very frustrated. Doc told me I could up my activity a bit -- slowly --- went for a power walk !!! Dang near killed me. Back to square one with the foot an recovery. I NEED to go to the gym. Tonight we are planning on going our last picnic/concert in the park and doing a little dancing. That should set me back a few days -- but I can't be inactive! The weather is beautiful and I just want to be outside enjoying it. Work is a total bore --- just trying to survive and keep busy.
